Pancreas malignant rhabdoid tumour in an adult from southern of Mato Grosso state, Brazil: case report

Malignant rhabdoid tumour is a very rare neoplasm with high lethality rate. Its neoplastic cells present rhabdomyoblastic features, although those must be differentiated from epithelioid sarcoma, melanoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma. Therefore, this case report of 21-year-old man who presented Malignantrhabdoid in the head pancreas. Patient was submitted to partial pancreatomy gastrectomy block, splenectomy, retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy. Anatomopathological analysis revealed invasive malignant pancreas, which classified as according Department Pathology, Emory University (Atlanta, United States América). Systemic chemotherapy protocol consisted ifosfamide, mesna doxorrubicin, after first cycle chemotherapy, patient died due disease complications. According literature only seven pancreatic neoplasms were described features. Extra renal tumours diagnosis challenging because immunohistochemistry characteristics. Thus, may contribute medical literature, recording describing anatomo pathological immunochemistry features one more neoplasm, an uncommon age range organ.
